Another pic from ' New York under siege' Album.
It's nearly impossible to find an empty Grand central terminal
at any hour in New York City, but not during Pandemic in May of 2020.
It's a shot that took almost two hours of waiting in one spot
inside the terminal. From 4.30 to 6.30 in the morning hours.
This was the peak of Pandemic with lockdown in place.
These two commuters appeared almost simultaneously
in the terminal walking in opposite directions as if locked in step.
One in black the other in white. Soon after I clicked the shot,
I was gripped with the fear of catching the Covid as realization
came that I had stayed indoors in the terminal far too long.
Such was the atmosphere of that time in NYC. Luckily I escaped without harm.
The pic titled "JUXTAPOSED" received recognition from
Leica Camera's LFI Magazine, Germany by being selected
by editors for their NORTH AMERICA Gallery.
