Looking past graves in Arlington Cemetery up at the Custis-Lee Mansion. The mansion, intended as a living memorial to George Washington, was owned and constructed by his adopted grandson, George Washington Parke Custis. The Greek revival structure took Custis 16 years to complete, with the first wing completed in 1802.
