Another war memorial, this is located in Esplanade Park. Originally erected to honor the 124 Singaporeans who sacrificed their lives during WWI. The reverse side was later rededicated to those who perished in WWII. Building began in 1920, and in 1922 the Prince of Wales (later Duke of Windsor) unveiled the memorial.
