Yellowstone National Park: Shell Spring

Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

A spring or geyser, depending on your luck. Its temperature is 200°F, and if it erupts it does so every few hours and lasts around a minute. Eruptions are 5-8 feet. The sinter lining of its crater resembles the shell of a bivalve.
