Didn't have any time yesterday to post. However, just got my first Macro lens ever (an old 55mm f/3.5 Manual Focus AIS lens of ebay). This is my first picture with that lens.

the picture is perfect except on the orange something on the background.. it contradicts the color of the main object. maybe if it was a little darker color, or something complementary (green, blue, purple or shades of those. but this is a nice work.. congratulations...

Anabela, You have to use manual metering (and focus) but it works. A great deal for Nikon users since some of those old AIS lenses are now dirt cheap. I have a few I've picked up off ebay.

You mean you can use that lens on your D70???
I have an old Nikon F3 and some lenses, a 55macro also, and was curious to know if I could use them on a D70
