I should have added that I have enjoyed perusing all your photographs. What camera do you have, might I ask, that offers such clarity?

I am curious to know what species of cuckoo we are looking at here. The darker bird suggests a male but certainly not of the European race, nor the Indian Cuckoo. Is the redder bird an 'hepatic' female, possibly of the same species as the darker bird? It seems from various pictures from sites relating to this general area of the Indian sub-continent that there is some identity confusion, especially among the bronze cuckoo family. Do these birds belong in that catagory?
