I've been scanning Kodachrome slides for my "last summer in kodachrome" project. I've had some success with the scanner, and developed a good workflow. Usually the scanner fights me all the way, but I've found a way to prevent it trying to be clever. I've made it do what I want, rather than what it thinks I want.
