The plan sounded so good. A trip up into the mountains on an old steam train, lunch in a pretty mountain village and then back to Lyon, the airport and home. Except the train was an old diesel, the village neither pretty nor in the mountains, and the Bar Des Voyageurs not really as nice as it looks. I had a cheese sandwich. But it was fun. Or funny. One of the two. Whatever, we enjoyed ourselves!
