Aug 3: Finished!

But not working. With the car all back together, it won't start. I wonder if it has anything to do with all these bits I have left over...

We (Mike and I) think it's a fuel line blockage. There's petrol in the tank but none is reaching the pump.

Lovely... I like the black/light/chrome/steel... nice highlights and detail... My dad used to have bits and pieces left after he rebuilt engines, but they always started and ran...

don't you have a clear fuel filter to see it go through? :)

I reckon its your flange bracket, its improportionately aligned to the muffler belt.

I'm pretty certain none of these parts are required. Actually, they appear to be bicycle parts!

LOL ... what a nutty idea to think these little pieces could stop you. I'd wash my hands of that idea and bolt back out to the car. Clamp down a bit more and try kicking the tires. ;-)
