These are the 5x5 prints I got from the first film through the Rolleicord. As you can see, the old thing works! Yay! I'll be scanning the negs as as soon as I can, although don't expect to see works of art... I was just pleased to get pictures! The waist level finder will take a bit of getting used to, and it forces to slow right down and think about what you're doing. This is real photography. No automation to help out, just a lens, a shutter and an aperture. The rest is down to the photographer.

Expect a PotD from the 'cord just as soon as I stock up on film, developer, oh and get a scanner that can handle the 2 1/4" square negs. This is so much fun!
