What is photo-a-day? It's not a difficult concept. Every day I take at least one photograph. I choose one that I like, or that says something about the day. As soon as I get time, I post it on PBase in my photo-a-day gallery... I do this every day. Why? Because it challenges me creatively. Because over time it becomes a fascinating record of my life. And because most of the time I enjoy it. Others see their P-a-D projects differently. They choose not to take a photograph every day. They do it most days, or when they feel like it, or when they have time. Well, I'm sorry, but as far as I'm concerned, that is missing the point. To actually take a photograph every day is the whole point of this project. That's what makes it a challenge, that's what keeps it interesting, that's what makes it a photo-a-day.
So, rant over, on to today's photograph. It's the first week on Wimbledon, and, as is traditional, summer is put on hold while we rain gods (there are lot's of us living in the UK) try our hardest to suspend play. Today, we win! Yay!
