The journey home in Gary's BMW Z1, somewhere north of LeMans near Alencon. Roof down, doors down, (they slide down into the sills in the Z1) and we're listening to “Can't take my Eyes off you” on the CD. Everything, weather, roads and scenery, is perfect. A bit further north there's a 22km section of road between Nonant-le-pin and Argentan which is possibly the most beautiful road in the world. The road, wide and smooth, winds through farm and woodland. In Le-pin-au-Haras, I wanted to stop. Forever. Linda, bring the dogs, the chickens and the rabbits. We're going to live here!
