Feb 27: Stormy sea

We arrived at Crantock on the north coast of Cornwall, having driven through a strangely snow filled landscape. We headed directly down to the beach for the usual walk - always to the end and back. It was bitterly cold and so windy. That black cloud arrived on our way back, delivering it's payload of snow. It's not supposed to snow here!!!

Minimal photoshop, the cloud really was that black. What you miss here is the pink glow above the horizon. It was very strange.

What a super photo.
I have always loved the rough sea.
When I was in the MN I liked to find a sheltered spot on deck in rough weather and watch the ship plough through the waves.

I never thought a shot of a sea would look great as a black and white. This is awsome.

Can almost hear the water rushing about. Beautiful in B&W like this.
