This is the 365th picture I’ve posted in this series. A picture a day every day for a year - although I once posted an illustration I’d done rather than an actual photograph...
I was out on Christmas morning walking the dogs with Linda. One particular path was strewn with empty drinks cans, mostly Coca-Cola. I took several pictures of them lying in the grass and bracken. Although none of them made PotD, it would have been apt image for Christmas day, the Coca-Cola company having popularised our modern standardised santa in the 30’s through Haddon Sundblom’s wonderful illustrations. The discarded Coke cans show the other side of the story.
So, now that Christmas is over, this crushed can can have it’s moment of glory before hitting the recycling bin!
