There's something lurking in the garage!
So, after getting it filthy just driving it home, and spending the rest of the day making space for a car in the garage, today I had a chance to tinker. Ironing out those little problems you get in old cars that have been taken to pieces. My chosen (non standard) front wheel/tyre combo doesn't work - terrible bump steer, plus tyres rubbing on fenders, so it's running the stock wheels on the front again. Back to the drawing board on that one. A missing split pin from the end of the speedo cable has been fitted, so the the speedo works, and it's had a good wash. It's really very shiny! Next on the list, replacement bulb for the interior light, and a check over of the engine which was salvaged from the previous car, having only done 2,500 miles, but it hasn't run for years until now. All good fun!
