'olly

Even for 'bah humbugs' like us, there's no denying that Christmas is pretty much here. We bought the tree today, and I even played a bit of the Phil Spector album. So here's some holly from the garden. Our holly doesn't have any berries, so the red was added with a old flashgun with a red filter. The shine is furniture polish!

BTW the tree is still out in the garden :-p

Hi there David. A great capture and clever use of the red filter, I would imaging getting the lighting balanced would be the hardest thing not to mention polishing all those leaves with the pink duster!

If any of you had any idea how much effort this shot took to set up. There was a good deal of swearing and stomping before he got one he was happy with. I must say, though that I do think it's sensational.
