Jan 1 More Dead Flowers

Hard to believe after all the rain of the last few weeks, and still suffering from this ‘orible cold, but 2013 dawned bright clear and sunny. As I roamed the house looking for pictures, the afternoon sun caught this (ex) flower on our bird of paradise plant. So, that’s two pictures, two dead flowers. I seem to remember dead flowers featured several times in 2003 although it took until March for the first ones to appear...

Canon EOS 5D

No shame in dead flowers... especially in PAD.

well, dead flowers are often more photogenic than ones that are alive and kicking.
We must not stray onto 'normal' shots after all.
