Sep 13: MG Bee

One to inspire Todd. A 1966 MGB in its natural habitat: an English country road on a sunny day. One of the great things about living here is that lots of classic cars come right past our house on their club runs. Today it was (mostly) MGs on the Cornish Riviera Run. Plenty of As, Bees, Cs Midgets and More Ts than you could count. Along with a few friends: Jags, Austin-Healeys, Stags etc it was quite an event.

Nice to see an English car in motion, most of them are stationary at the side of the road awaiting a tow to be fixed. Pretty looking but mechanical cr-p. From an owner of an Allard, TR2 and Sunbeam Alpine. Then I bought a Mustang. Wonders - it starts, runs, and the hood works.

Ah....!!! And it looks to be Racing Green, too. Gorgeous! On a day like that, a folding chair and a cooler of beers, I could sit and watch them all day!
I have a fuel pump, radiator and hoses to put back in, a starter relay and then... will it start?

For a minute I thought you were at Brooklands!
I get more of a kick out of classic saloon cars, especially when out in the street going about their day-to-day business. Saw a Morris Minor and a Mk.1 Cortina just yesterday like this.
