If I'm going to fit binding to the 12 string guitar I'm building (it's the little plastic trim around the edge) I'm going to have to rout a channel around the guitar. Of course, I need to attach the top first, but I'm planning ahead. To do that I can buy a gadget from StewMac for $40 plus international shipping plus import duty plus VAT. It would attach to my Dremel tool. But I don't think the Dremel is powerful enough for the task. So, maybe I can make an adaptor for the Black & Decker router (photo). After sketching out some ideas, all I'll need an aly bar, a bearing and some nuts an bolts. £10 tops with all the bits coming from eB*y.
