We spent four nights in Luxor, a one hour flight south of Cairo. The Luxor area is home to many significant sites including beautiful temples and the "valley of the kings."

One of our days was spent on foot visiting temples on the east side of the Nile. This photo shows some of the huge pillars at Karnak.
