All photos in this gallery Cave Shots(1) and the next gallery Cave Shots(2) were taken at GYOKUSENDO CAVE, a one kilometer long cave located in southern Okinawa. The beautiful young Okinawan-Japanese ladies above, clad in traditional Okinawan attire, were ushers at the entrance gate at the time of our visit. My sincere thanks to these young ladies for allowing me to take this picture as a token. Well, since I was slow taking pictures with my camera on tripod (long exposures), I soon realized that the few tourists on that Monday were already gone leaving me alone in the cave. Being alone was a blessing in desguise though since I could do my cave photography very well and clean without them. BUT traversing the whole stretch of this eerie cave all by myself was certainly not just a walk in the park. View the following images in progressive shooting sequence and feel how it is to be alone shooting and walking through eerie passages until you reach the other end of the cave.
