Your whole collection of pictures has captured the spirit of the event so beautifully. You may recognize the Welge name as it is the south pasture and cabin area belonging to my husband and myself where the action occurred. You have a representation in this photo that shows the force and power, heat and madness of the battle. Your later images of the veteran talking to the re-enactor and looking at the Japanese flag are so effecting. I also like the children with the veteran so much.
