The Funkturm

The Berlin Radio Tower is a former broadcasting tower in Berlin. Constructed between 1924 and 1926 to designs by the architect Heinrich Straumer, it was inaugurated on 3 September 1926.

There is a fabulous restaurant situated in the square section you can see in this image. This is where my Mum's 80th birthday party took place. The top square section is a viewing platform which can also be accessed by elevator.
