Boneheads are not always who you think they migt be sometime it's a design flaw. This photo is the Union Pacific Cima Sub Division at MP 320.5 the mainline another mile ahead in one of two rail yards in Clark County. Behind the photo is the Bard rock cut where trains shoot out between the canyon walls at 60 miles an hour. To the right is a fence the edge of a High School soon to be opening with new students in August 2008.
The Planning Commission and County Commission and school board approved this school all the eyes were dotteed and the T's crossed one item was missing commonsense. The school is zoned for both sides of the mainline. Student have a choice walk 2-3000 feet to school over a mainline track or take a nine mile one one way trip bus ride.
Who's the bone head in this shot?
