Rural or resident officers patrol the outlying areas of Clark County Nevada, such as Jean, Sandy Valley, Blue Diamond, Moapa Valley and Bunkerville, along with Mt Charleston,Cold Creek and Indian Springs. Equiped with 4x4 Ford SUV's these modified vehicles conduct patrol day and night, perform search and rescue in conjunction wth rescue teams, catch sppeders, arrest interstate felon, conduct drug interdiction patrol and then handle any of the normal routine patrol duties found in any police department.
