Takhli RTAFB was designated as the 355th SPS – Takhli & 6280th SPS – Takhli.
Takhli was opened, closed and reopened again, and then closed.
In addition, a “re-supply effort” was constituted as the 6499th Provisional Squadron prior to the reopening of Takhli (6280th)
I was a dog handler at Takhli 68 & 69. Kennel Master was a goon named Tsgt Bonneck. Otherwise good NCO's and great bunch of guys. A1C Patrick Mattingly.
