Blakeslee Cabin

I first visited here last summer and made a mental note to return on a nice winter
day to photograph it as a snowscene. Dating from the Blakeslee family arrival from
Connecticut in 1810, this cabin is remarkably well preserved with only minor repairs
to the original superstructure. It is one of the oldest "genuine" examples of early
pioneer life in the lands of the Western Reserve.
