Hehe... that is nice to know. Most people would usually drop a leaf down and take a picture of it. Since I saw part of the leaf under some of the ferns, I thought it was there for a while, rotting away.
You are right Ben, it had been there about 15 seconds. I must admit I set up the shot. I cleared away all the dead brown leaves, placed the red leaf and shook the water off of my rain parka for more rain drops. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I love it when I get stuck in the rain (during warm weathers). This picture hits home. The way the leaf intertwined with the ferms tells you it has been there for a while.
