Can you tell its little leage season?
I was lucky with the timing on this one. He bounced on his stomach while 'sliding' home and I happend to release the shutter on the bounce up.
Thought it was interesting enough to share.

Great capture. My grandson is in little league. When I asked him why he slid into home when nobody was even covering the plate, his response was, "'cause it's fun." If you want you can see an animation of him sliding home in my pbase gallery.
