Well thanks Mike that was my objective purposely getting the trees branch blurred in the foreground... I got lucky with halving either tree & or reflection thereof to frame the sides... I didn't crop the sides, just the top & bottom...
Well Kath, I hate to admit it but I rather fooleshly cheated the WB to the red side & have been trying to find the best settings for in-cam sat. (low), sharp. (high) & cont.{high) & still over-exposed it... Then everything I did to recover it exsaserbated the red fringe on the blurred foreground branch... I don't know what I was thinking...
I think I must revert the WB to zero, sharp to low, boost the sat. to high & leave the cont. on high.... That just might get me back to dealing primarily in USM & minor shadow & highlight adj...

I like it too. The pink in the water must be reflections of flowering trees?
