"Angels" from an Earlier Time
Geauga County, Ohio
--------------------------------------------------
Definitely a chronological contrast next to Sac D's Blue Angels.
This art-deco stonecutting represented contemporary aviation when it was originally carved.
It was built into the wall above the hangar entry at an early Geauga County airfield.
That airfield is long closed, but the building is used by an industrial firm.
(The number is just a street address placque over the doorway)
