This would make a nice Christmas card.

Mike-- As happens this early in the season, a couple of warmer days came along and everything melted. It's just a barren, grassy hillside today. I can shoot it again, but with neither snow nor human activity it's terribly ordinary. New snow is forecast for tonight and tomorrow though. Which would you rather see?

Its a week later - I wonder what the hill looks like today? Vic, any chance of getting another shot? Same place, same angle?

Gary-- I love the old "Currier & Ives" winter scene litho's and try to capture that kind of flavor with my winter pix. Some scenes work better than others, but this one seemed especially suited. Winter's just beginning, so brace yourself for many more attempts!

I've been waiting for your snow pics to hit...I knew it had to come soon. This could be on an old fashioned calendar.

This is something I miss and wish so much to take my son outside to do.
