A warm, "Indian Summer" day found many visitors on the wine-tasting circuit today.
Northeast Ohio's "wine country" consists of a couple dozen "boutique" wineries
situated a few miles south of the lakeshore through Lake and Ashtabula counties.
With 85 acres under cultivation, Chalet DeBonne is the second largest.
They produce Chardonnay, Reisling, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir.
They also hold a hot-air balloon race here every summer!
