This poppy has flowered there most of the summer, despite foot traffic, dogs, sidewalk sweepers, blowers, and no rain.

We should all bloom as lovely where we are planted ;-). I love the angle on this, from the flower's POV... and the composition. Neat elements in the wall, hydrant and flag backing the flower.
