I was in Laguna Beach this week. A man walked by with a parrot on his shoulder, I asked if I could take a few pics. The bird's name is Guapo, Spanish for "handsome". The man has had this bird for 10 years.
Thanks Sara. There was a purple fringe on the outside of the beak, and with the helpful advice of the oly group, I was able to fix it. It was easy shooting this bird, he posed beautifully very close. And with this great camera, I couldn't go wrong!

Awesome! The feather detail and eye really caught my eye and wouldn't let go. I never saw the first one (no longer available), but from this it appears you did a great job removing whatever offending purple there was.
