Thanks for the link Steve... this is one of the added benefits I've found since I've taken up photography... I'm much more inclined to take the time to identify and learn about the nature around me, whether it be birds, bugs, flowers, etc...

Thanks Sandy... I never saw it actually spinning the web... but that would a really neat thing to witness... this type of spider is very common around here, and its interesting that every one I've seen has the same ziz-zag pattern in it's web...
