Thanks guys... I did intentionally compose the shot with her off to the side... there were actually two other deer off to the right, but they were partially obstructed... my first instinct was to try to get them all into the picture, but I realized they actually detracted from the overall shot...

Nice Shot, It is really hard to catch them especially in such nice setting. She does have that deer in the headlights look.

Nice capture! The doe's color makes the field flowers float like butterflies in the foreground. The shot is the quintessential fauna photo, as many species are very fond of the border region between the deep dark forrest and the field of flowers. Were you consciously attempting to center her head as opposed to centering body mass?
