These are two very poor women. They are neighbors. They were very happy when we came visit them.
On this particular visit, the lady to the right was cooking two small fish heads for her family of
half a dozen. She could not afford any more than that. The lady to the left is sitting in front
of her fallen home. The 7.8 magnitude earthquake has flattened her home. Fortunately, she is still
alive. Unfortunately, she lost everything. She has the saddest look of all the people I met, but
managed to smile a little when her best friend came over to console her.
