Sandy Paro

Lake Minnetonka Regional Park

Golden Eagle
I attended The Raptor Center Spring Bird Release at Lake Minnetonka Regional Park. This bird will never be able to be released into the wild. The birds left eye was gored by a quill from a porcupine.

Good shot, Sandy. Sharp detail and good catch on the eagle's expression. Nicely done. One question. Did they have clear or white plastic in the background, and is that why the background is overexposed? I had that problem when I shot photos at a raptor seminar last winter.

Even with one eye, this bird looks amazing! It is a good looking eye too.

Super picture, Sandy. It's too bad about the birds eye.
