The whole assemly is attached to the front of the lens so it will clear
it, but will not interfere with the object to be photographied.
Here its attached to a reversed 50mm pentax lens that I've been
using on my Canon A 520.
When attached to the lens make sure the opening of the film canister faces the
on camera flash and is in line with it.
