I like the sky and the silhouettes of the tree and streetlights.
And the cars up the hill, they´re really 5-600 meters away.

Used the 18-200mm lens.
I really like that lens on my D300. Great travel combo too.
Used it in New York in February for all my touristy pics. Easy to carry around for a whole day and not too heavy.
I like the D700 + 24-70 mm too, but DX camera and 200mm is nicer for touristing...
I´m really glad I didn´t sell D300 when I bought the D700.
- D300 + 105 mm macro is still my favourite in the summer, for flowers and bugs.
- D700+ 70-200mm is just perfect for concerts (James Marsters, yey!)
- D3s would be even nicer, the silent mode and higher ISO, but just too expensive. I have to win in the lotteries first.
