Lost Maples State Natural Area

"B" and I took an early morning hike along the West Trail and a portion of the East Trail. The website is showing the park is experiencing 'peak color' this week. Since our fall is typically 'leaves to no leaves' - getting out and seeing these colors was a nice way to start the day!

My family spent one Thanksgiving at a cabin in this area while I was stationed in San Antonio with the Army. It's a beautiful place and we didn't even see it at its best. Thanks for sharing these photos. Voted
