Some of us started the day with a visit to Hore Abbey and the Rock of Cashel before breakfast. It was Sunday, and very quiet. After that, we went to a motte and bailey, a small hill used as a fortress and coronation place for ancient kings. Next up was a tour of Cahir castle and Swiss Cottage, followed by a ride through Healy Pass to get to our next stop, Eyeries. We visited a pub with live music this evening and watched some of the local women dancing waltzes and two-steps together. Many of our group hit the dance floor as well, and Tim contributed an "Achy Breaky" lesson.
