London: Paul Day Frieze

These scultures are small, so I shot close at wide apertures to acheive the shallow depth of field and sense of greater subject relief than is really there. Ambient light was horrible and I didn't have a tripod; note that some ISOs are as high as 6400! Sensor technology has really advanced over the last several years. Can you imagine what a film image would look like pushed two stops from ISO 1600?
