Morning time is my favorite time of day in the Cinque Terre. If you arise before sunrise, you'll be treated to amazing light and scenes and pretty much have the towns to yourself, as I did in making this image of Riomaggiore. You may run into the locals finishing up fishing for the night, or the local fish dealers laying out the night's catch on ice. The clouds can often add drama to the morning, as well.

So grab your favorite beverage and a hot pastry from the local bakery, and you'll be set for sunrise.
