This image of the Cinque Terre - the fishing village of Manarola - was captured early in the morning Some of the lights were still on and a storm was moving out to sea. The low clouds over the Ligurian Sea were thick, but soon would give way to a sunny afternoon.

The Cinque Terre is one of my favorite places in the world, and views like this never cease to fill me with wonder and admiration of how these folks have lived for thousands of years.
