My buddy BugBob says this is Dichelostemma pulchellum. It is NOT in the hyacinth family, so the cocmmon name "wild hyacinth" doesn't make sense. Another common name, blue dicks, should really be spelled blue dichs since it is a contraction of the genus name Dichelostemma. BugBob uses the common name from the 1800's: School Bells. Geesh, botanists are as bad as birders with these common name changes. Next time, I will just say, pretty purple flower. But then my artist friends will say, no, its lavender or mauve or some such thing. She said, smiling.
