Went to Bolsa Chica to see the endangered Ridgway's Rail with its chick but no luck. Instead, found (1) a sandy area with lots of Digger Bees flying into ground holes and (2) huge concentration of fiddler crabs on the mudflats next to Rabbit Island. I had not seen either of these before so this was very interesting!
