VERY Rough Translation of this sign. If you can understand Polish, please let me know.

At the top of the sign: Poles, Rusyns, Jews of Bukowsko gmina. Jewish cemetery in Bukowsko.

Arab!Abraham Palestine!
I think it says where the first mention of Jews in the area can be
found (book).

In 1264 Father Boleslaw Pobozny did something. King Kazimierz the Great did something to help the Jews get established including giving credit.

16th century, Red Russians

18 Jewish families came to Bukowsko in 1790!
I think those 18 families totaled 127 people which increased to 166
people by 1818.

In the years 1880-1900 there were 715 Jews.
Between 1900-1907 there were 725 Jews.
In 1908 there were 825 Jews.
In 1912 there were 936 Jews.
Then something about 1,321 people (Jews?, or total population?)
Then it lists some of the Jewish establishments; synagogue, bakery
(bread),and ???

It mentions WWII as a tragedy . . .
German (?!) occupation . . . Zaslaw.
On August 15, 1942 and June 1943, the Gestapo shot 100 Jews in the Bukowsko cemetery (I think the Catholic cemetery).

It then mentions the restoration (my word but incorrect) of the Jewish cemetery in 2006.

Thank you, Debbie Greenlee for attempting to translate this.
