Piping in the Haggis

25th January is Burns Night, when the Scots worldwide celebrate
the life and poetry of Scotland's best known poet.
Haggis is traditionally served at the dinner, led in by a piper,
and there is Robbie Burns himself (or a clone of him at least)
looking on.
I have always been rather afraid of eating haggis, but my mother
told me to eat it today, she is Scottish and she loves it, so I tried
it for her and have to admit that it did taste VERY good!

great photo of the festivities! Haggis tastes great... just don't look too closely at the ingredients list. :-D

A wonderful celebration. The day slipped by before I knew it and your photo reminded me. Well, to each his own, I cannot eat the stuff, maybe if it was garnished with a lot of camouflage.
